YogaLise came to life in 2013 with the ambition to create a momentum for busy young professionals to take a break from the activity in their minds by focusing on what is happening on the inside. Attention to the body brings calmness to the mind, with great benefits for concentration and stress-reduction.
Take a moment stop, to calm down, to feel, to relax, to dream, to connect, to shape up, to BE .... In other words, to practice yoga! YogaLise facilitates this by creating a relaxing and informal atmosphere where everyone can be at ease, no matter how much or how little experience you have with yoga and meditation. After attending a random yoga class here and there over the years, Liselotte really started practicing yoga on a daily basis during her internship in Thailand in 2011. For her it turned out to be the perfect activity to release the pressure from work, to relax the mind, reduce stress and feel great in the body!
Curious and enthusiastic to learn more about yoga, she completed a 200+ hatha yoga teacher training course in Solterreno (Spain). The course also contained the extra modules of mindfulness- and therapeutic yoga and the certificate is recognized by the International Yoga Alliance. In 2012 and 2013 Liselotte worked as an instructor of Mindfulness- Power- and Hatha yoga at the Maastricht Atlethic Health Club (MAC), next to obtaining her university degree in International Business. Leaving Maastricht after graduation, she continued to teach yoga while travelling through South-America, like in various hotels in Colombia and the retreat center Saraswati in Ecuador. Back in The Netherlands, in May 2014 she started her own yoga centre, YogaLise. YogaLise aims to bring people together to share a moment of peace and connection. Every year she goes to India to learn more from inspiring teachers. In 2016 she obtained 50-hour Yin Certificate with José Groot and graduated from Partner Yoga Teacher Training with Dieke Dee in 2018. Next to yoga, she works as a consultant in change management at Turner. |
