Community living implies that we "do it together". You take responsibility for your own wellbeing as well as for the wellbeing of others and the surroundings. You contribute with who you are, with your whole being. There is a day schedule/routine provided, but the content is mainly up to you. Apart from the day-opening and the meals, all activities are optional. As a participant, you can facilitate a workshop or activity. This can be anything! Whatever you feel like sharing: varying from your coocking skills, knowledge from the milky way or massage talents. You can also participate in someone else's workshop. The framework is provided, but the joy of the festival emerges from your ideas, initiatives and energy to engage. A living experiment! This fesitval is a joined initiative from Peter Melis and YogaLise.
Both Peter and Liselotte had the luck of experiencing community living abroad. Peter in stayed in Inanitah (Nicaragua) and Liselotte in Saraswathi (Ecuador). Inspired by the love, wisdom and intimacy of community living, they want to create and share this with friends, acquiantances and anyone who is open and curious to this kind of experience. We believe that each individual is beautiful. However, often our daily lives are not so inviting to demonstrate this beauty. We are so much valued for what we do, that we tend to forget to honour the source where all that doing sprouts from; who we are. Back to Being aims provide the place to go back to the source, connect to life again. |
